Dogs

Lovely staff. The receptionist brought a box of tissues and sat with me whilst I was being neurotic about my dog. The vet was very thorough and explained exactly what she was doing and why. She was compassionate and has both telephoned and emailed to find out how the dog is doing (Fine! He’s fine!! He was just trying to upset me and he managed!). Independent vets, not part of a group. They have 2 branches and cover their own out-of-hours.

We were on holiday with our dog Ben when he was taken ill with what turned out to be gastroenteritis. Ryedale Vets gave him exemplary care, kindness and 1st class service, liaising with our own vets and insurance providers. Can definitely recommend them. Ben has made a full recovery and is back to his boisterous, playful self.

Thank you so much for seeing and treating our girl Zena so quickly. My husband expected the worst and you put his mind at ease. She’s much better now, and we are all glad that you’re in Helmsley. Thank you again.
