Lovely staff. The receptionist brought a box of tissues and sat with me whilst I was being neurotic about my dog. The vet was very thorough and explained exactly what she was doing and why. She was compassionate and has both telephoned and emailed to find out how the dog is doing (Fine! He’s fine!! He was just trying to upset me and he managed!). Independent vets, not part of a group. They have 2 branches and cover their own out-of-hours.
Great service. We were on holiday and, unfortunately, our two Yorkshire terriers became ill. I contacted Ryedale Veterinary Surgeons in Helmsley and we were given appointment for the same day. They were given an intensive and thorough check-up by Charlotte, who explained what she was going to do for us. We were supplied with medicine, and three days later, the dogs were all fit and well. Last but not least, thank you for the courtesy check-up call 5 days later to find out how the dogs were doing. I would highly recommend Ryedale vets and all the staff. 5 stars.

Ryedale Vets is independently owned and operated. Compassionate and not frightened of dogs with safe and secure care. Great staff and now caring for my pocket rocket Milo. The staff is friendly and caring and does not stress either your pet or the biped “mother”
Regularly attend the physio sessions here with our dog. They have been so good. I really can tell the difference with her mobility after 3 sessions.
Wonderful, wonderful people. We were visiting Helmsley from Norfolk when our beloved dog fell ill. The amazing people at Ryedale did everything they could to make him better. I will be forever thankful for their help.
